July’s Highest and Lowest Home Sale Prices in Redondo Beach

July 2018 was a solid month for home sales in Redondo Beach CA with 74 closed sales and a median list price of $1,133,000 and a median

sales price of $1,126,000.

The highest price sale of the month was $2,462,000 for a beautifully remodeled craftsman home at 421 Calle De Aragon in the Hollywood Riviera.  The home offered 3,000+ square feet, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a very nice sized yard and great city and ocean views.  The home was listed by Pamela Soladar of Palm Realty.

The lowest price sale of the month was priced at $600,000 for a one bedroom condo near the beach in South Redondo at 1400 S Catalina #205.  The condo offered 1 bedroom, 1 bath and 786 square feet.  Originally listed for $614,500 the home was on the market for 51 days.  The listing agent was Ross Moore of Remax Estate Properties

Is $1.5M for New Construction Townhomes in North Redondo the New Normal?

Something none of us thought possible seems to be happening in North Redondo. We were amazed when prices of new construction two on a lot detached townhomes reached topped $1,000,000 in 2014, again  when they hit $1.2M mark in 2015….we were again surprised when it started topping $1.3M…and here we are in 2018 with a new construction townhome listed and priced over $1.5M!  1729 Harriman #A offers 4 bedroom and 2551 square feet which is pretty standard.  The rear unit was listed at the same number and is actually in escrow so we may just be heading to a $1.5M+ market.  Unbelievable.  Contact us for more information.

While most new construction townhomes in North Redondo Beach have been pricing in the mid $1.3M to $1.4M these new homes on Harriman just may set the new standard.  It seems unlikely but we’ve said that before.  Only time will tell.

December 2017 Redondo Beach Home Sales – Median Price Tops $1.0M

The monthly sales are in for December and although it was a bit of a slower month in terms of the number of homes that sold, it was a very strong month for home prices in this coastal town.  Redondo Beach recorded 78 homes sold in December at a median price of $1,018,000.  While median prices have topped $1.0M in the past it’s still fairly rare.  Click here to see the current homes for sale in Redondo Beach or view our recent home sales in Redondo Beach.

Two Big Home Sales in the TRW Tract of North Redondo

The TRW tract of North Redondo Beach is a unique neighborhood in the 90278 zip code as it generally only allows for single family homes giving it more of a neighborhood feel.  This combined with some oversized lots make the community a great place to live.  Most of the homes are 1950’s bungalows but some have been updated, upgraded, remodeled or even rebuilt.  Homes are generally priced a bit over $1,000,000 depending on location and lot size.  Recently two very nice properties came and went quickly and at prices rarely seen in this area.  See the current homes for sale in the TRW tract and North Redondo Beach.
