$1,245,000 for an 1,880 sq foot Tall & Skinny in the Golden Hills? WOW

It looks like the market in the Golden Hills of Redondo Beach may not have peaked just yet if the home at 1809 Goodman is any indication.  Listed at $1,249,000 and closing at $1,245,000.  This appears to be a new record high sales price for anything of that size built prior to 2005.

The home was beautifully remodeled with a warm coastal feel and just about every aspect had been converted from it’s original 1983 built finishes.  Although relatively close to busier Artesia Boulevard, the home was across from a very rare open area and enjoyed tree top views most wouldn’t think possible in the neighborhood.

The only recent sale similar in age and price was located at 1411 Clark and sold at $1,235,000 back in August.  The average home price for similar homes with 1750-1950 sq feet and built before 2000 was $1,150,000 for 2018.

Redondo Beach October Home Sales

October 2018 saw 70 homes sell and close escrow in Redondo Beach.  The average list price was just over $1,112,066 with an average sold price of $1,112,556.  When the sold price is higher than the average list price it indicates a very strong sellers market.

September 2017 Redondo Beach Real Estate Prices and Home Sales

September was another busy month in South Bay Real estate with a strong number of home sales along with some impressve prices.  Redondo Beach saw 86 home sales with a median price of $1,021,000.  To see all of the homes sold in the South Bay in September visit our recent home sales page.  The lowest price of the month was a Brookside Village condo selling for $436,500 and the highest home sale in Redondo Beach was an oceanfront new construction luxury condo at 1000 Esplande that closed at $3,250,000.

Redondo Beach Sees Year Over Year Home Price Increase for May of 2016

Redondo Beach, CA saw a year over year price increase in May with 96 homes sold this month at a median price of around $950,000 which was considerably up from $845,000 the prior May.  Redondo Beach was the only one of the Beach Cities (Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach) to see gains over the prior year.  The 96 home sales is a big number for Redondo and is a good indication that the market activity has picked up with more homes coming on the market.  Click here to see the homes sold in Redondo Beach for May of 2016.
