We were very excited to see the steady and signifcant number of pending home sales in Redondo Beach to start off 2020. Unfortunately the impacts of the Covid-19 changed that in a hurry. After a multi year low of only 34 pending home sales, we saw a nice jump to 51 in January and 63 in February. Unfortunately March saw a drop to 41. The inventory is part of the problem as with only 70 active listings that’s 50% fewer homes than the end of 2019.
