Beachlife Festival in Redondo Beach

Beachlife Festival Happening This Weekend Near King Harbor

If you happen to live in The Village Redondo Beach…..there’s a great event just steps away.  What a venue for a fun weekend concert……. The Beachlife Festival is 3 days of music, entertainment and community fun. We had the chance to go on Friday and it was fantastic as always.   There is, of course, the music, which covers a lot of genres and there’s definitely something for everyone.  There’s plenty of food and craft beer, booths of local companies, game areas with ping pong, and cornhole and more.  The event has 4 stages and our favorite is always the lowtide stage as you watch from the sand of Seaside Lagoon so it’s really like a day at the beach.  Visit the Beachlife Festival page for more information. Holiday’s In Redondo? King Harbor Boat Parade is a Great Event

We have so many great and unique holiday events from the Manhattan Beach holiday pier lighting and fireworks over downtown Manhattan Beach, the Riviera Village Stroll, Santa Clause cruising the streets and more.  One of the highlights is the King Harbor boat parade in Redondo Beach.  Some boat owners simply go all out and it’s a unique and fun way to celebrate the holidays when you live on the coast.

Dress warm as it’s often chilly (for Southern California) but there are food trucks, cocoa and coffee to keep you warm.

Where to Watch

There will be public viewing stands with food trucks at the end of Mole B (off Marina Way). Moonstone Park and the Portofino Hotel are also good viewing places.

Family Movie Night at the Redondo Beach Pier

FREE OUTDOOR MOVIES ON THE BOARDWALK AT THE PIER FEATURING

We’re posting this on behalf of the The Redondo Pier Association.  They are committed to providing FREE community events throughout the year including one of Southern California’s longest-running kite festivals, summer concert series, chalk art  festival, classic car show, holiday concert and monthly yoga meet-ups!

Every friday in May from 7:30 to 10:00 pm they’ll have free movies at the pier.  The Redondo Pier Association in partnership with King Harbor Association is pleased to announce the return of Free Family Movie Nights beginning on Friday, May 1, 2018. This free event series is presented by Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach and will feature family-friendly movies every Friday at 7:30 p.m. in May
