January A Slow Month for Redondo Beach Home Sales

38 closed sales in Redondo Beach in January 2025

Average Sold Home Price of $1,785,447

Welcome to the Redondo Beach real estate market recap for January 2025.

While the number of homes sold was down…..prices were up.  There were 38 homes that closed escrow in January compared with 55 in December.  This is pretty typical as December is usually the slowest month for homes getting listed and going into escrow.

The average asking price was $1,787,808 with the average sold price at $1,785,447 which was a big jump from $1,630,594 in December and  $1,692,279 in November.

The average price per square foot for December sales was $961 which was up from $864 in December and $904 in November.  Days on market, or DOM was a fairly lengthy 40 before going into escrow.

Of the homes that sold 14 were in north Redondo Beach in the 90278 zip, 15 were in south Redondo Beach or 90277and the remainder were home sales in the Hollywood Riviera with a Redondo Beach zip but actually in the city of Torrance.
