While this was one of the nicest homes we had ever seen in North Redondo Beach 90278, this price tag is going to really indicate just where the Redondo Beach real estate market can go. There have been a number of newer construction resale homes recently listing and selling close to $3M and now up from there and those are on much smaller lots. With a 7,500 foot lot on Ralston you get a big home and still plenty of backyard…..enough for a yard and a pool and spa. One of the most recent listings and now closed home sales in South Redondo Beach, was a massive single family home located at 803 N Paulina. The home boasts over 6,000 square feet with 5 bedrooms and 7 total baths. The location makes for some nice ocean views from the home and the incredible pool deck.
The home was listed at $3,995,000 and sold for a jaw dropping $4,625,000. $630,000 over the asking price!

The real estate market in Redondo Beach was very strong once again with 76 homes closing escrow during the month compared with 74 in March.
The average “list” price for the homes that sold was $1,474,590 with the average sold price at $1,611,603 meaning that, in general, homes sold DRAMATICALLY higher than the list price.

In our opinion this is one of the best locations in all of the South Bay as it combines stunning views, direct beach access and privacy you just don’t find in most other beachfront locations in Southern California. The home has struggled to sell for a number of reasons but with the new price and the incredible market we envision it selling this time. Due to the lot size this is a true estate type home with a gated entry, sports court, oceanfront pool, grand staircase, 4 car garage.
As mentioned the home has been on and off the market for a very long time. It hit the market in 2014 (had sold in 2012) at a then over the top $16M. It was listed and relisted several times from 2014-2018 at similar price points. The home was relisted once agai at $14.9M in 2018 and then eventually at $14.5M and pulled off of the market at the beginning of this year.
