Here’s to 2021 – Happy New Year Redondo Beach
Happy new year to our friends and clients in Redondo Beach and the South Bay. While it was a tough year for just about everything else, it was a great year for home sales and home prices in one of the best communitiesin all of Southern California.

Active, Pending and Closed Home Sales Trending Down in South Redondo Beach
All of the indicators of Redondo Beach real estate activity in South Redondo Beach are trending down. For the past several months the number of homes that are for sale, those in escrow and the closed home sales each month have been declining. July was the high water mark for “active” homes for sale with 79 and it’s been going down ever since. The high for homes in escrow was June with 54.

November was a very solid month for home sales and home prices in Redondo Beach. There were 87 on market home sales during the month.
The median “list” price was $1,199,000 with the median “sold” price of $1,175,000 showing that its still a sellers market. The average price per foot was $674 with the average days on market of 29 days.
