Vista Sotheby’s International Realty, with offices in Redondo Beach and the South Bay, just reported surpassing $1,000,000,000 (that’s 1 billion!) in sales already for 2022. This is a record breaking timeframe. Congratulations to the very hard working agents of Vista Sotheby’s International Realty.
Beautiful and spacious north redondo new construction
2317 Ralston, redondo beach ca 90277
2317 Ralston is definitely going to put that to the test……
While this was one of the nicest homes we had ever seen in North Redondo Beach 90278, this price tag is going to really indicate just where the Redondo Beach real estate market can go. There have been a number of newer construction resale homes recently listing and selling close to $3M and now up from there and those are on much smaller lots. With a 7,500 foot lot on Ralston you get a big home and still plenty of backyard…..enough for a yard and a pool and spa. Like most new construction in the beach cities, the home has a “coastal plantation” look and feel with a very open layout and lots of white making for a bright and open feel. No doubt this home will sell as it’s beautiful….just a question of whether the north Redondo Beach real estate market will support this price and maybe even more.
We had the chance to tour this home and it’s beautiful inside and out. Contact us if you would like to set up a private showing.

824 Emerald St was built in 1909 was completely updated in the 90’s. This single family home known historically as the Tingley House after the builder is a beautifully kept and updated Queen Anne Victorian straight out of the black and white photos of original Redondo Beach.
This corner lot charmer offers incredible charm with detailed woodwork and finishes that keep this home feeling like it was when originally built. The home is located on a great corner lot with a charming front lawn and just blocks to the beach. As expected this home didn’t last long and as of 5/17 it’s gone into escrow.

Back on the market once again, 433 Paseo De La Playa has returned with a new price. For those looking for a legacy type property this checks a lot of boxes and would be very hard to duplicate. We’ve mentioned this home many times in the past as it’s been on and off the market since 2014.
This one is all about location and possibilities as it’s a massive almost 7,800 foot home with approved plans to add another 2,000+ square feet. This ornate estate sits on a huge 26,580 foot lot that extends down the hillside to the beach below. In our opinion this is one of the best locations in all of the South Bay as it combines stunning views, direct beach access and privacy you just don’t find in most other beachfront locations in Southern California. The home has struggled to sell for a number of reasons but with the new price and the incredible market we envision it selling this time. Due to the lot size this is a true estate type home with a gated entry, sports court, oceanfront pool, grand staircase, 4 car garage.
As mentioned the home has been on and off the market for a very long time. It hit the market in 2014 (had sold in 2012) at a then over the top $16M. It was listed and relisted several times from 2014-2018 at similar price points. The home was relisted once agai at $14.9M in 2018 and then eventually at $14.5M and pulled off of the market at the beginning of this year.

The highest priced home sale of the month in Redondo Beach was a new construction single family home on a 6000+ foot lot on Avenue C. This south Redondo home offered a spacious 4,300+ square feet on 3 levels. With high end finishes throughout, a beautiful backyard and a beach close location this home was definitely a winner but we’re a bit in awe of the sales price. Closing at $4,650,000 this is venturing into Manhattan and Hermosa prices.
