Redondo Beach Sees Year Over Year Home Price Increase for May of 2016

Redondo Beach, CA saw a year over year price increase in May with 96 homes sold this month at a median price of around $950,000 which was considerably up from $845,000 the prior May.  Redondo Beach was the only one of the Beach Cities (Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach) to see gains over the prior year.  The 96 home sales is a big number for Redondo and is a good indication that the market activity has picked up with more homes coming on the market.  Click here to see the homes sold in Redondo Beach for May of 2016.

April 2016 Median Home Prices & Home Sales in Redondo Beach CA

The April home sales numbers and median prices were once again impressive in Redondo Beach and throughout most South Bay cities. Some cities saw a drop in median prices from the previous year but all are still trending upwards from 2015.

Redondo saw 102 closed sales in April of 2016 with a median home price of $902,000.

The Avenues of South Redondo a Hot Market

We usually see a home or two on “The Avenues” hit the market each month, but in the past 2 days we’ve seen 4 new and fairly exciting listings hit the market.  The Avenues is the area towards the most southern part of Redondo Beach before the Hollywood Riviera in which the streets all have letter names….Avenue A, B, C….These streets have a very unique and “beachy” feel to them as you can often see the ocean, they are mostly original looking bungalow style homes, are a short walk to the beach and the Esplanade, and they are very close to the Riviera Village shopping area.

March 2016 Median Home Prices for Redondo Beach and the South Bay.

The numbers for March are in Redondo Beach saw another solid month with  89 homes sold in Redondo Beach and a median home price of $893,000 which was slightly up from the previous month.  There is a healthy number of new construction projects coming out in both north and south Redondo which is helping keep the home prices up.
