Redondo Beach Home Sales and Property Prices for August

August was a huge month for home sales in the coastal community of Redondo Beach with 103 homes that sold during the month which was the highest single sales month since August 2017.

The prices were equally impressive with the median “list” price at $1,075,000 and the median “sold” price at $1,050,000 meaning that homes sold very close to full price. The average price per foot was $691.

Redondo Beach Real Estate Market update - March home sales

March was a very solid month for home sales in Redondo Beach with 57 on market home sales. That was a bit slower than usual but still a strong showing given the lack of inventory on the market. The median list price for homes that sold was $1,149,000 with a median sold price of $1,130,000 which is a considerable number and shows that it was still a seller’s market.

March sales were not really impacted by the covid 19 challenges so it’s likely we’ll see a fairly significant slowdown in the next few months.

The average price per foot was $611.00, median days on market was 59, and average days on market was a pretty incredible 13 days before going into escrow.

February Home Sales and Prices in the Hollywood Riviera

February was a very slow month for closed home sales in the Hollywood Riviera with only 8 homes sold during the month. That’s the fewest home sales in a month over the past 18 months other than December 2018 and 2019 (which is typically very slow) Prices were solid as they’ve been over the past 18 months with the median list prices of $1,362,000 and a median sales price of $1,335,000.  Average price per foot for sold homes in the community was $784.  Median days on market was only 52 which is another indication of a strong sellers market.     See the Hollywood Riviera real estate stats for the past 15 months below.
