Welcome to September’s Redondo Beach market recap.  It was a great month for home sales and property prices in Redondo Beach.  It was slower than the previous year with only 79 home sales compared with a pretty incredible 110 in September 2020.  The median sales price was $1,375,000 compared with $1,149,000 a year earlier.  Homes averaged only 14 days on market before going into escrow.  See how this compares with other months on our Redondo Beach real estate trends page.

Redondo Beach Real Estate – July 2021 At a Glance

July 2021 was a huge month for the real estate market in Redondo Beach.  There were an amazing 98 homes, townhomes and condos that sold compared with 94 in July of 2020.  The median sales price was an impressive $1,300,000 and the average days on market was only 13 before homes went into escrow.  Click here to see the homes that sold during the month as well as details and prices.

The highest priced home sale of September was a 5 bedroom single family home located in South Redondo at 603 Elvira. The home closed escrow at $2,238,000.

How Do June Home Sales in Redondo Compare? – Real Estate Trends

June was another slow month in terms of the number of home sales with only 47 homes that sold during the month.  2020 has been slower in general as the number of home sales has never reached to lowest number of sales in 2019.  The good news is that the pending sales is trending way up with 96 pending sales in June meaning July will be a big rebound month for the number of home sales.  The inventory of new listings has also gone up  for 5 straight months and as of 7/21 there are 129 current homes for sale in all of Redondo Beach
