July Real Estate Recap for Redondo Beach

Welcome to the July real estate recap for Redondo Beach.

If March and April were disappointments, July was certainly a return to the very busy summer real estate market that is expected in Redondo Beach. The numbers are in and July was a big month in just aboout ever way.  There were 93 home sales in July which was a huge month comared with 74 the year earlier.  It was even impressive compared with the previous few months which were 40 home sales in April, 51 in May and 47 in June.  The median home price for the properties that sold in July was an extremely impressive $1,298,000.  View all of the homes that sold in July.

Currently the Least Expensive Property in Redondo Beach

2001 Artesia - 55+ Senior Living in the Montecito

Not surprisingly the least expensive home in Redondo Beach is in a 55+ community on Artesia. The reason it’s not surprising is that due to the more limited buyer pool, demand is never as strong for 55+ homes as similar homes without age restrictions. This nicely upgraded condo in Montecito senior living offers 1 bedroom, 1 bath and approximately 790 square feet.  The complex is fairly new so it offers all the bells and whistles of newer construction.  Currently the second least expensive home in Redondo is in the same building priced at $420,000.
