Oceanfront Home at 709 Esplanade the Top Sale of August

Beachfront Estate Hits the Top Sale of August in Redondo

709 Esplanade, Redondo Beach CA 90277 - Sold at $10,825,000

The highest price home in all of Redondo Beach for the second straight month was a single family home on the Esplanade in South Redondo.  709 Esplanade was a massive beachfront home and had been extensively remodeled to give it a luxurious but casual coastal look and feel.

The home was listed by Taya Dicarlo & Cynthia Ambuehl of  Compass and the buyers were represented by John Corralles and Rob Depaoli of Compass.

709 Esplanade is one of the largest homes ever built in the Beach Cities at almost 9,000 square feet and offering 6 bedrooms, 6 baths, multiple outdoor decks and an 8 car garage…all on an oversized 5,600+ foot beachfront lot.

Ironically enough we featured this house years ago (not necessarily in a good way) when it sold in 2015.  The home was on the market for almost 3 years and was originally priced in 2012 at $10,000,000 and ended up selling for $6,350,000 in 2015.  What was so unusual about the home was that everything on the inside was pink.  Pink marble flooring, pink tile, pink sculptures…..it was odd.

The home has now been EXTENSIVELY remodeled with an entirely different look and feel.
