What a year it was for the real estate market in Redondo Beach.  There wereesplanade condos 1015 on MLS home sales and closed escrows during the year.  The average “list” price was $1,348,000 and the average “sold” price was an impressive $1,388,000 meaning homes generally sold WAY over the asking price.  Average price per foot is $767 and the average days on market was a brief 20 before going into pending status.

That was certainly much higher than the 5 sales in December but about average compared with previous months. The median “list” price was $1,329,000 with the median “sold” price at $1,388,500 showing just how favorable the market is for sellers. The median price per foot was an impressive $845.

February Home Sales and Prices in the Hollywood Riviera

February was a very slow month for closed home sales in the Hollywood Riviera with only 8 homes sold during the month. That’s the fewest home sales in a month over the past 18 months other than December 2018 and 2019 (which is typically very slow) Prices were solid as they’ve been over the past 18 months with the median list prices of $1,362,000 and a median sales price of $1,335,000.  Average price per foot for sold homes in the community was $784.  Median days on market was only 52 which is another indication of a strong sellers market.
