Hollywood Riviera Home Sales in August

While the number of homes sold in the Hollywood Riviera dropped slightly in August, the prices most definitely did the opposite thanks in large part to a oceanfront home on Paseo De La Playa that sold at $8,000,000.
The average “asking” price of the homes that sold was a VERY impressive $2,500,625 with the average sold price even more impressive at $2,596,725 which was DRAMATICALLY higher than the $1,972,000 in July, $1,857,355 in June and $1,780,138 in May.
Homes that sold average $1205 per square foot compared with $960 in July. The average days on market was a borderline ridiculous 15 days before going into escrow.
