Redondo Beach Home Sales and Housing Prices for March 2020

Redondo Beach Real Estate Market update - March home sales

March was a very solid month for home sales in Redondo Beach with 57 on market home sales. That was a bit slower than usual but still a strong showing given the lack of inventory on the market. The median list price for homes that sold was $1,149,000 with a median sold price of $1,130,000 which is a considerable number and shows that it was still a seller’s market.

March sales were not really impacted by the covid 19 challenges so it’s likely we’ll see a fairly significant slowdown in the next few months.

The average price per foot was $611.00, median days on market was 59, and average days on market was a pretty incredible 13 days before going into escrow.

The real estate market in Redondo Beach continued to remain strong with 72 closed home sales during the month with a median sales price of over $1.0M.   The median list price was $1,039,500 and the median sales price was $1,032,500 indicating a very solid seller’s market.  The highest price of the month was at $2,994,000 for new construction at 404 S Gertruda and the lowest price of the month was $425,000 for a one bedroom condo in Brookside Village in South Redondo.

September Home Sales in Redondo Beach and Beyond

Redondo Beach saw an impressive number of homes selling in September of 2015 to end the summer selling season with 97 closed escrows.  In addition the median home price in Redondo was $875,000 which shows significant gains in value over the past year.  The market was hot throughout Redondo Beach with homes in both North and South Redondo often selling quickly and with multiple offers.  Click here to see all of the homes sold in Redondo Beach in September of 2015.
