We’ve talked a lot about this property in the past as it was actually the all time417 Paseo De La Playa Redondo Beach

sales record when it sold a few years back at $22,650,000 in early 2018.

This is an impossible to duplicate property with the incredible combination of oceanfront location, huge 1.4 acre (we don’t generally talk in acres in the South Bay) lot that extends to the sand below and two homes making it a true showcase estate.  There’s nothing else like it on the South Bay.

Can North Redondo Beach Support a $3.8M Home Price?

While this was one of the nicest homes we had ever seen in North Redondo Beach 90278, this price tag is going to really indicate just where the Redondo Beach real estate market can go.   There have been a number of newer construction resale homes recently listing and selling close to $3M and now up from there and those are on much smaller lots.  With a 7,500 foot lot on Ralston you get a big home and still plenty of backyard…..enough for a yard and a pool and spa.  Like most new construction in the beach cities, the home has a “coastal plantation” look and feel with a very open layout and lots of white making for a bright and open feel.  No doubt this home will sell as it’s beautiful….just a question of whether the north Redondo Beach real estate market will support this price and maybe even more.

Beachlife Festival Happening This Weekend Near King Harbor

If you happen to live in The Village Redondo Beach…..there’s a great event just steps away.  What a venue for a fun weekend concert……. The Beachlife Festival is 3 days of music, entertainment and community fun. We had the chance to go on Friday and it was fantastic as always.   There is, of course, the music, which covers a lot of genres and there’s definitely something for everyone.  There’s plenty of food and craft beer, booths of local companies, game areas with ping pong, and cornhole and more.  The event has 4 stages and our favorite is always the lowtide stage as you watch from the sand of Seaside Lagoon so it’s really like a day at the beach.  Visit the Beachlife Festival page for more information. See the Hollywood Riviera Homes that Sold in April

Take a look below at the Hollywood Riviera homes that sold during the month of April 2022.

The activity level was impressive yet again with 13 on market home sales during the month compared with 10 in March and only 4 during February.  The average “list” price was a pretty massive $1,810,385 with the average sold price at $1,943,538 meaning that, in general, homes sold WAY above the original list price. The average price per foot was $1010 and median days on market was a very brief 8 days before going into pending status.  The average days on market was 8.  See how this compares to other months on our Hollywood Riviera real estate trends and statistics page.

Although it’s a bit hard to believe….just as in March the top home sale of the month was a luxury townhome located at 1903 Camino De La Costa, this time the rear #C unit that sold for an amazing $3,199,000.
