The latest condo to hit the market  in South Redondo’s Brookside Village is currently the lowest priced home on the market in all of Redondo Beach. (*excluding 55+ units that are generally always less expensive) 

605 S Prospect #106 is a ground floor 1 bedroom with a little under 700 square feet. 

We haven’t been through just yet and with no interior photos it’s a bit tough to know the condition, but the listing states that it’s a pretty extensive remodel with new kitchen and bath, new flooring and more.

One of the newest homes on the market in Redondo Beach also happens to be one of the least expensive.  This newest condo listing just hit the market in Brookside Village and it’s a nicely updated one bedroom located at 607 S Prospect building.  

The condo is in great shape with wood flooring, updated kitchen and a nice upgraded look and feel.  The biggest drawback is that it doesn’t have much open space out front off of the balcony as it’s somewhat tucked behind another building.

If Living Oceanfront Works for You….531 Esplanade with 5 Condos Now for Sale

In the Redondo Beach real estate market, where inventory is extremely low, one oceanfront building is certainly bucking the trend.  The Ocean Plaza, at 531 Esplanade in South Redondo Beach currently has 5 condos for sale…all with great ocean views.  Although the building sits ocean front, the bulk of the condos are on the side and the views can vary depending on the floor and how far east in the building the home sits.  Generally the higher the floor and higher the unit number the better.  See a video overview of the ocean front condos of the Esplanade.

A Number of Condos Listings Hit the Market in Seascape One Redondo Beach

There’s been a definite lack of inventory in the world of ocean view and ocean front condos in Redondo Beach over the past 18 months.  Prices have risen dramatically as inventory dipped to record lows and demand for the “vacation” style feel of complexes such as the Seascape buildings, The Village and condos on the Esplanade have continued to grow.  At least in one complex there’s been a higher than usual number of homes coming on the market in recent days.  Seascape One is located in the 200 block buildings of The Village (which is unusual in itself as it’s actually on Catalina).  As of July 18th there are 3 units for sale in Seascape One.  Of the 3 2 offer a interior garden view (this is the only Seascape or Village building offering interior facing units) and one offers some pretty significant ocean and harbor views.  Built in 1978 the condos are fairly ideally located just behind King Harbor and walkable to the pier, the beach, and the shops and restaurants of the King Harbor area.
