Only 23 Homes for Sale in All of Redondo Beach! Lowest Number in a Decade

It’s been clear for months that the inventory of “active” listings in the South Bay and Redondo Beach has slowly been declining.  With record months in terms of the number of sold homes in Redondo, the new listings each month just can’t keep up.  As of 11/26 there are only 24 active listings on the MLS in all of Redondo Beach!!  Last October there were 94 homes for sale.  This is definitely not good news for home buyers and is certainly not going to help with the housing crunch and unceasing demand.  See the Redondo Beach real estate trends over the past 15 months to see just how low that is in comparison.

Welcome to Redondo Beach real estate October update at a glance.  October saw 96 on market property sales closing in north Redondo, South Redond and parts of the Hollywood Riviera.  The median “sold” price was $1,356,000. Average days on market was a very short 18 before going into escrow and the average price per foot was $848.
