It was a better month for Redondo Beach real estate with 43 home sales….but that was a big improvement from 33 in February and the record low 21 sales in January.

The average “list” price was $1,435,466 with the average sold price at $1,423,964 which meant that homes generally sold below the asking price.

Homes averaged $801 a square foot and averaged 51 days on market before going into pending status.

It was a VERY slow month for Redondo Beach real estate with only 21  home sales….but December is traditionally the slowest month of the year for homes going into escrow.

The average “list” price was an impressive $1,559,905 with the average sold price at $1,499,544 which meant that homes generally sold below the asking price.

Homes averages $796 a square foot and averaged a fairly brief 59 days on market before going into pending status.

What a year it was for home sales and home prices in Redondo Beach CA.    There were 658 condos, townhomes and homes sold during 2022.

The median sales price was an impressive $1,450,000 and average price per square foot was $849.

Homes averaged only 18 days on market before going into escrow.

See how real estate in Redondo Beach fared in October 2022 compared with a year earlier.  It was definitely a slower real estate market with 86 homes on the market compared with only 52 in 2022.   Only 44 homes went into escrow last month compared with 74 a year earlier and only 49 home sales in Redondo Beach compared with 96 in October of 2021.  Prices were up significantly however with a median sales price of $1,450,000 compared with $1,356,000 in 2021. See the details and Redondo Beach home prices for October 2022. It was a fairly slow month for Redondo Beach real estate with 50 on MLS home sales….but the sales prices remained very impressive. The average “list” price was an impressive $1,516,268 with the average sold price at $1,512,320 meaning that, in general, homes sold slightly below full price. Homes averages $857 a square foot and averaged a very brief 31 days on market before going into pending status. The top home sale of the month was at 441 Avenue E, Redondo Beach, CA 90277 which was a single family home that sold for $2,700,000.
