46 home sales in November with $1,614,231 average home price

Welcome to the Redondo Beach real estate market recap for November 2025.

It was a solid month for the number of homes that sold while average home prices dipped a bit from prior months.

There were 46 home sales in November compared with 60 in October, 43 in September, and 57 in August.

The average asking price was incredible at $1,635,174 with the average sold price at $1,614,231 which was a bit below October’s average of $1,667,068 and a big drop from the unusually high average price of $1,897,920 in September. 

The average price per square foot was $891 and homes averaged a relatively low 41 days on the market (DOM) before going into escrow.

Of the homes that sold 21 were in north Redondo Beach 90278.  20 were in south Redondo Beach or 90277  and the rest were  in the Hollywood Riviera with a Redondo Beach 90277 mailing address but the homes are actually in the city of Torrance.

Welcome to the Hollywood Riviera real estate recap for November 2025.  It was a slow month for the number of homes that sold and the average prices that they sold for.  

There were only 5 home sales in November compared with 9 in October and 6 in September.   The average “asking” price was $1,331,800 and the average sold price was $1,324,967 which was a healthy drop from $1,770,025 in September.

Homes averaged $981 per square foot and the average days on market for the homes that sold was 54.

As of 11/11/25, there are 6 active listings on the market….all in competition with one another.

While aggressively priced condos have still been selling quickly…the ones that based their pricing on the market from late 2024 and early 2025 are sitting on the market….more often than not reducing the price.

Buyers have options in terms of location within the community & condition and upgrades of the unit…..but more importantly it means the competitive advantage and negotiating ability is all in the buyers favor.

The market conditions has meant much lower list prices (compared with even earlier this year) and there is still likely room to negotiate as even after the numerous price reductions, the homes are still not selling!

9 homes sold last month compared with only 6 in September.   The average list price was $1,754,433 and the average sale price was $1,770,025

The average price per foot was $999 and the average days on market for the homes that sold was a pretty incredible 19….so much for a down market.

Two of the sales were condos in the complex known as Cote D’ Azur and another in the townhome complex of Village Palos Verdes.  The rest were single family homes.
