We are proud to announce our latest home sale in Redondo Beach.  We had the pleasure of represtnting the seller in this off market/pre-listing oceanview condo.  Our most recent condo sale in Redondo Beach was a beautiful ocean view 1 bedroom condo in The Village located at 640 The Village #104, Redondo Beach CA 90277.

The condo was scheduled to hit the market in mid January after doing some updating and upgrading,  but the sellers asked that we try to find a buyer prior to doing any renovation.  We found an agent/buyer and the condo sold off market and actually closed and recorded on January 18th.

Although the condo was a first floor unit it had some pretty nice ocean views as the 630 and 640 buildings have two levels of parking so they’re almost a full story higher than the other buildings.

Rare 2 Bedroom Oceanview Condo Sells in The Village for $1.1M

It isn’t often that a 2 bedroom sellss in The Village as they are fairly rare to evenThe Village condos Redondo Beach hit the market.  We’re happy to report that a 2 bedroom top floor condo did just sell for the full price and closed at $1,100,000.   As they are so rare it’s no surprise that 610 The Village #317 closed pretty quickly.   610 is the furthest north of The Village buildings which definitely puts it in a fairly quiet location.  The home was in nice condition and had been well maintained but was a bit dated and there was some value add possibilities.  Having said that the views were wonderful and it was in great shape so it’s a great buy for the new owner.   With one bedrooms nearing the high $700s now, $1,100,000 for a top floor two bedroom in this condition was just about right.

Search the current condos for sale in the Village and Seascape buildings.

Due to the layout and configuration of the buildings in The Village (600 addresses) each floor only has two 2 bedroom units so they just don’t come available very often. With a 3rd floor location it means it’s just about as close to the water as the condos get. The units are just a bit under 1,000 square feet and have a nice open layout. As with all of The Village the grounds and amenities, including the use of the neighboring Ocean Club facilities, are fantastic.

Sitting just off of the the Esplanade in South Redondo Beach and Torrance*, welcome to the condo complex of Vista Bahia in the Hollywood Riviera.  Located at 201 Calle Miramar, Vista Bahia offers a great opportunity to live just steps from the beach and the downtown area of Riviera Village at a reasonable price.  The building is right at the corner of Esplanade and Paseo De La Playa which are two of the most sought after streets in all of the South Bay.

Parking at Vista Bahia is in a gated subteranean lot and units either have one or two designated spots.  There is also additional storage for bikes, surfboards and other small items.

HOA dues range from about $350 – $400 (as of January 2020) and the building has a number of nice amenities and features including:

Welcome to the year that was for real estate and condo sales in the oceanviewSeascape 1 in Redondo Beach complexes of Seascapes 1,2,3 and The Village Redondo Beach.  These 4 oceanview complexes saw 24 condos that sold in 2019  The median list price was $794,000 and the median sales price was $782,500 indicating a very strong “sellers” market.  The lowest priced sale of the year was at $480,000 for a top floor studio unit (was the highest priced studio ever sold) at 610 The Village #302, with the highest priced sale of the year being a penthouse 2 bedroom + loft in Seascape 3 that sold for $1,275,000.
