Summer Concerts on the Redondo Pier Are Ready to Roll

It's time for Summer concerts on the pier once again

Every Thursday & Saturday from July 4 - August 31st from 6-8 PM.

The always popular summer concert series on the Redondo Beach pier is once again ramping up and with the now awesome weather….it’s going to be tough to beat.  The concerts take place every Thursday and Saturday from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and are presented by the Redondo Pier Association and Memorial Care Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach.  The location is pretty hard to miss as it’s over the water(follow the crowd….and the music)

There is no charge for admission so come on down to the pier with friends and family.

It’s not just about the music as it’s a real community event and always has a great vibe.  The bands range from tribute bands (on Thursdays) to bands covering music from certain eras so there’s sure to be something that catches your attention.  The concerts start this Thursday, July 4 and ends on August 31st.  Seating is not provided so best to bring beach chairs and blankets (and something warm….still gets chilly in the evening with the beach breeze.

What A Month for Ocean View and Ocean Front Condo Sales

What a start to summer it has been for the ocean view and oceanfront condos in South Redondo. May 2024 saw ocean close properties close escrow.  Several were beachfront condos on the Esplanade although most were on the Esplanade but only ocean view…not ocean front.

The month was highlighted by the sale of 1000 Esplanade #B which was a newer condo with panoramic ocean views that closed at a pretty amazing $5,500,000.  This was a beautiful home for sure but with 3 bedrooms 3 baths and just over 2,300 feet….that’s a huge number!  Congrats on that one.

58 Redondo Beach Homes Sell in May Over $1.6M Average Price

58 Homes sell in Redondo Beach in May 2024

Average Sold Home Price of $1,608,589

Despite not being quite as impressive as April, May 2024 was a sold month for home sales and home prices in Redondo Beach. There were 58 home, townhome and condo sales compared with 69 in April.  That’s a noticeable drop, but keep in mind that the 69 homes that sold in April was the highest number since June of 2022.  The average asking price was $1,605,835 with the average sold price at $1,608,589 which again was a healty drop from the  $1,766,921 average sale price in April.     The average price was below March as well but above February and January.  Homes averaged $915 per square foot and the average days on market for the homes that sold was a brief 32 compared to 29 in April.
